Cyanotype printing is a 150-year-old photographic process that produces Prussian blue prints of photographs or art. Artists of all levels are welcome to join. This class is taught by MultiMedia Artist and Harlem native, Dionis Ortiz. This workshop is a hands-on guided approach to cyanotype printing on paper.
Participants will learn about using:
Transparencies
Mixing chemistry
Proper coating and exposing techniques.
You will leave with a set of six prints on paper created out of your own photos or art.
If you want to learn a new hobby, join this unique art workshop and try something new. You’ll leave with new skills and your own artwork to display. This class also makes for great date night ideas and fun things to do in NYC.
